Je suis vs. Jai

发布时间:2026-06-30网络技术评论
Jai = I have.Je suis = I am.That said, not always when you would say I am in English, is the French translation Je suis. The French say, e.g., I have 2

when people talk about their age, "I have lived for many years", if that makes sense. I hope this makes sense :) ,。

The difference in usage is a little tough to understand initially, but you tend to get the hang of it by time. For this instance, and hence the translation becomes "I have gained many years of life" or, you are right about them saying "J'ai vingt ans" instead of 'Je suis vingt ans". This is because age is considered as an object。
