Effective 2022, DHCD launched a new Property Registration and Rental Licensing Portal. Please read the important updates and information below.

For multi-family dwellings, properties must be inspected by a Maryland State Licensed Home Inspector who is registered with the Baltimore City Department of Housing Community Development (DHCD) to conduct rental inspections in Baltimore City.
