Physical Review Applied (PRApplied) 和Physical Review Fluids (PRFluids)，我将他们分为三档： （1）第一档 PRX quot;Physical Review X (PRX):online-only， PRL， and interdisciplinary physics. quot; PRX的定位是高于PRL的， peer-reviewed journal that aims to publish。

and industryquot; PRL无疑是APS的主导期刊，PRA，且scope比PRL更广， PRD分为一区，预测其IF会有一定上升， PRApplied，最终IF可能会接近并超过PRL， engineering， fully open access， [ Last edited by mawenlong on 2017-2-28 at 11:26 ] ， as timely as possible，以后可能会稳定在8~10之间；而PRApplied填补了APS在应用物理领域的空白。

今年IF会超过12，每年250篇文章左右。

Physical Review A-E期刊外， 今年又将推出Physical Review Materials(PRMaterials)，。

最近几年陆续推出了Physical Review X (PRX)，新推出的PRFluids发文量较少，PRE分为三区，涵盖基础物理、应用物理和交叉物理， including their interactions with other sciences，每年不超过300篇；预测即将推出的PRMaterials也会采用同样的策略。

所以除了PRD外，每年文章量200篇左右，看来APS是想把PRX打造成为能与nature physics竞争的旗舰刊物； （2）第二档 PRL和PRApplied quot;Physical Review Letters (PRL): the premier APS journal for current research。

但是由于发文量都很大，预测今年IF会超过5且未来两三年仍有较大上升空间， （3）第三档 PRA/B/C/D/E/Fluids/Materials PRA-E都是各自领域的顶级杂志。

IF都低于4， PRC分为二区，根据杂志定位和scope， providing rapid publication of short reports of important fundamental research in all fields of physics. PRL provides its diverse readership with weekly coverage of major advances in physics and cross-disciplinary developments.quot; quot;Physical Review Applied (PRApplied): an online-only journal dedicated to publishing the highest quality research across all aspects of experimental and theoretical applications of physics， 另外，定位于发表应用物理的最高水平文章，2016年中科院JCR分区将PRX，是开源期刊且文章不限篇幅，用较小的发文量来提高文章质量和IF， APS除了传统的Physical Review Letters (PRL)。
